It is a decade so soon and I am certain the sad memories and the horrible pictures of the May 9th 2001 disaster at the Accra Sports Stadium now the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium will evoke in the minds of the affected families in this month of May.

  Although I was an alibi to the scene,I very much felt the pain on hearing from the bereaved families.People said an unfortunate good-bye to their fathers,husbands,friends and other relatives.

 How did this happen?,is what families will be asking themselves.I urge that,they remain resolute and steadfast in their bid to completely erase those memories from their minds, although very painful, rather than engage in wistful retorical questions because the good books say 'God giveth and God taketh'.'God hath taken and he will provide'.

 Therefore,from the deepest part of my heart,I sympathize with you all the affected.May ALLAH sooth and heal your pains and wounds.
